Is this the freedom you’re dreaming about?

Let’s today think about – Am I free from WHAT IF?

I love looking at others, when they are quite , away from me or else listening and observing their words and action is also what I love to do. Well, I love doing it not because I want to see them or want to be near them but I do this because i want to learn. I love learning new things. It doesn’t matter if it’s from book, or practical or life based learning. Till this age what I’ve learnt is none of living beings want to be under others command. Everyone of us want to be free and want to live our life our way but the thing is, we are unknown about the fact that none of us are actually free in this planet. Well, I do not know about other planet so I’d like to point only our planet- Our Mother Earth.

It’s true that we do not have time to think so it’s also obvious that we follow. Some of us follow guides from their religion, some from schools, some from experience and some from their influencers. Actually the thing is most of us are ready to follow something that sparks. Sparks means, thing that’s at the top ( according to my understanding).

People say they want freedom, but the truth is actually everyone of us are actually free but not free at the same time. We are free to experience our own life according to our thoughts process but are also chained or locked up by our mentality, our mentality to follow trends and follow pretty things and good incomes.

We are free to enjoy our life, we are free to cry, we are free to get angry, we are free to love unless it’s all for ourselves. We can do anything we want with ourself. But the truth is we are afraid to explore something different. That’s the reason why we follow others. That’s the reason why we believe in what people from higher posts says to us. And that belief is not just a belief, it’s a blind belief because we do not have in-depth knowledge about if and do not courage to ask question.

None of us like it when others command us to do things their way. But the another truth is, everyone of us want to be boss as well.

But have we ever questioned ourselves if we are really living our life freely? Are we really seeking to live our life freely?

Till this age, how many of us takes time to think about things we actually did which we always wanted to do? May be like dancing infront of your friends? talking with strangers? rejecting friends proposals? How many of us actually did those things without thinking about other things like what if???

How many of us are free from WHAT IF….????

How many of us are from from seeking others approval for your doings?

How many of us are from looking at every pretty girls and handsome boys and wishing to have them our partners?

How many of us are free from dieting mentality?

How many of us free from layers and layers of make ups to hide your natural beauty? ( make up is an art and I love arts but some people use make up to hide their face as well because they have less confident with themselves is also another truth, so I’m referring it to them. If this sentence hurt some peoples sentiments I’m so sorry)

If I start writing everything on points it’ll get too long so I’ll sum up just in one sentence . HOW MANY OF US ARE FREE FROM DEPENDENT MENTALITY, from ‘ WHAT IF’ MENTALITY??

Well I do not know if anyone have talked about if before or not so I’ll give this name to this quote. Which is understand recently while writing this blog.

Every humans are free but aren’t free at the same time.

Ekagrata

I referred humans because other animals aren’t free like we humans. So why to include other animal kingdoms?

Okay that’s all i want to include in this writing because I just want to make it simple and short. All I want to request everyone is to think, think for your life and think about your life. Take some time for yourself, get out from social media and live your life for real. Go out and explore your life in reality.

Thank you.

Namaskar. 🙏

Is money everything?

We are living in such world where all of us are working to achieve one goal and that’s – peace of mind.

Some of us are so busy that we don’t even have time to think about what’s happening in our life and I believe that’s the time when you need time to think about yourself the most. All of us have 24hrs a day, 24 hours to spend our 24 hours to utilize, that’s in our hands.

I’ve observed people working so hard trying to earn money, trying to earn good lifestyle, some wants to earn fame as well. But at the end when we speak to those people about what they want the most in their life all of them have same answer – happiness.

We all are living in a world where we are running after name, fame, money and luxury but at the end the goal is only one – happiness.

We work so hard trying to earn enough money to feed our family, to provide good lifestyle to our family but during this period we often forget to take care of yourself and our family. When things don’t go well we show are anger to our family members, when we don’t have enough money to provide good lifestyle to our family, we blame ourself for that. Isn’t it quite disturbing? I mean, we all are working for ourself our family to get happiness and peace of mind but in this process we are somehow losing our trip from ourself and from our family.

We work to earn money so that we can provide good lifestyle to our family but in this process we become so much involved in earning money, name and fame that at the end we forget our own family.

We can earn money, from that money we can even but anything- any materialistic things we wanted to, we can even buy name and fame but can we buy peace of mind? This question always strike in my head. Can money buy peace of mind and peace in my soul level? Is that’s possible why rich people doesn’t look peaceful? I mean, at least we can feel if person is at peace or anxious.

Do we really need materialistic thing to enjoy our life?

Why do I see people at village having much more spark in their eyes than people who are rich enough to buy anything they want to? When we were child we didn’t know anything about anything, that time we used to enjoy our life. Either it’s showing ourself in mud or making paper plane and flying in sky. We used to enjoy. But as we grow and start to know about everything a little bit, why are we missing our spark from our life? If name, fame and beauty is the only thing this world needed, then why old people who’ve struggled so much in their life seems more satisfied with this life than the one with enough name and fame?

Where are we heading now?

I mean, are we really living our life that we’re supposed to live or what we really wanted to live? or Are we being influenced by this outer world which somehow disturb our inner world?

Things like this always stink l strike in my head. It’s quite saddening that we ( human beings ) in spite of being intellectual being on this planet cannot enjoy our moments of life because we are all so busy thinking about our future, trying out best in present to enjoy our life in future. Is it really so difficult for human beings to think only once a day or at least a month that one day we all are gonna die and we don’t even know when that day is? I believe if we could think this way then may be we will be able to enjoy our present rather than focusing on future which is unpredictable anyway.

I wonder if all of us start living to improve ourself and connecting more with people and nature then may be one day we will be able to understand the meaning of life, may be that day we will be able to enjoy our life and find page of mind.

So can we take some time to think about what’s happening in our life and what we really want in our life? Just a minute a day or at least few minutes a month?

May be it’s my immature brain questioning these everything but why am I not able to find the answer from those mature people? Why don’t they have answers to my question about what do they really want and are they really living their life like they wanted to from their soul level? If money, name, fame and beauty is everything then why do people who’ve struggled a lot in their life seems more satisfied and happy? Why? Can’t they buy peace and happiness from name, fame, money and beauty?

All these things might hurt others feelings. I’m sorry but whoever read this please can you help me clear my mind regarding this topic?

Learning to live alone

We were happy when we were kids.

Remember when we were kid we used to enjoy our life to the fullest even when we were alone?

Those who fly solo have the strongest wings.

Love yourself first. If you can’t love yourself, you can’t love others as well.

Most of the time when I say I love being alone people often mistaken me as I’m depressed or I’m lonely. I just want to say that when people say they love alone that means they love being with themselves.

In this vibrant world we are so busy following what other people want us to do. We are so busy looking at what other peoples do and trying to do the same thing.

We are so busy that we don’t have time to think about ourself. We are so busy with others, we are so busy scrolling social media, we are busy with following trends and trying to fit to this world that we actually forget that one thing. One thing, to love ourself.

We are so busy in this outside world that we actually forgot there’s another life as well and that is; inside of us. When I say insider life it means our emotional and mental life.

We get so busy with our social media life that we actually forgot to take actual care of us.

Looking at others profile and checking out their life, what they are wearing, where they are going and what they are having with their life, we forgot to live for ourself. When we look at others we are subconsciously comparing our own life with them.

When we look at the things others do but may be we can never do, looking at the clothes others wear but we may never get chance to wear, traveling photos which we may never get to go even in our dreams. We are comparing our life with their life. We are unknowingly fantasizing our live with their life.

We are unknowingly trying to live our lives their way.

Give yourself more time.

I personally love being alone. It’s not because I don’t like people or I have phobia but it’s because I respect my own personal space so much that I want to know much about me. More and more I stay with myself, more and more I get chance to understand myself. Whenever I get into problems I get my own personal space so I can think properly trying to figure out my problem.

People often think alone people are lonely. But I believe, those who are afraid to be alone are the loner in this world because such people can’t live their life with themselves and seek others approval.

If theirs one suggestion I want to give others then it’ll be – Learn to live alone.

You’ll love yourself if you talk to yourself first.

When you develop the habit of living alone trust me you’ll start living your own life, without worrying about others. You’ll understand yourself and your situations more clearly.

And when you understand yourself, your life starts feeling like a blessing. You’ll start loving your life and yourself more and more everyday.

When you live with yourself, you will start talking with yourself. You will start making friends with your own self.

Any humans are so unpredictable. We never know when they will change and leave us. But there is one person will never leave you even at your lowest point in your life and that’s YOU. So, it’s better to invest your time to know yourself rather than running after social media and other people.

Follow your heart.

Go outside in nature and try to live your moment with your self.

Follow your heart.

Meditation: my first experience

Everywhere we search for mental health we get this word MEDITATION. Almost everyone talk about doing mediation and breathing techniques.

What’s Meditation?

I believe meditation is a mental exercise. Meditation is a practice where we sit on a quite place and be present at the moment. All we do during meditation is being at present.

My very first experience

Well, today I’ll share you my experience of doing meditation for the first time. It was 3years back when I started doing mediation and yoga.

Why???

I’ll start with my back story.

Because my life wasn’t running well as what I actually wanted to be and it’s quite frustrating to me. At that point of time all I knew was “nobody can help me unless I help myself”.

Ever since I was a kid I used to do yoga but I never did mediation because I didn’t knew it’s importance. I didn’t knew how much mental health values in our life. But since my life wasn’t going as what I expected and I wanna live in peace I started searching for solutions and everywhere I found one answer and that was- MEDIATION

Well almost every sites told about how to do so I decided to do it for the first time in my life. And for the first time I did meditation.

My experience

I started with yoga asanas followed by pranayam and finally to dhyan (meditation). I sat on my yoga mat with cross leg position. My hands on my lap in resting positing, thumb and index finger touching each other and eyes closed.

For few minutes I thought of present situation but then after some minutes everything means up.

My very first experience was so horrifying. It was as if I was watching my own movies. It was like all those emotions, all those life experiences and all those problems I’ve been running away from, are all coming to get me back. I don’t think there’s any words to explain that experience.

Then for first time I didn’t do meditation after about 5min may be because all my life’s experiences were coming in from of my eyes. I went back to my room and thought may be I didn’t do it in right way. Since I was determined to do meditation I promised myself to do it again tomorrow.

That same thing happened to me for may be about 3 days then on my 4th day no matter how much I was getting my flashbacks I was determined to do so I continue doing meditation. Then guess what??

After getting all those flashbacks after few minutes my mind became blank. I was as if all of my mental problems vanished. Like when we try to delete something on our phone or in our laptops and in computer we get suggestions like are you sure you want to delete this file? And then when we click yes all those files gets deleted. My experience with doing meditation was very similar to deleting files on laptops, computer or my phone.

After mind gets blank here comes the beautiful part. I actually started feeling happy. I felt like I’ve got new life as if I was free from everything. I felt myself as a free and happy soul.

Lesson learnt

  • Doing meditation is not easy
  • At first it’s difficult but one day you’ll succeed
  • If you don’t face your problems you’ll never solve your problems
  • Trust yourself and your ability

” Quite the mind and your soul will speak”

-Buddha

My suggestion

When I first started doing meditation it wasn’t easy. All those past memories were coming back towards me but I was determined to do it and I even did it. And now here I am, happy soul. Just remember one thing no matter how hard it is for you, just keep on doing meditation. Of course at first it’s difficult but when you practice you’ll succeed. “Difficult roads most often leads to the beautiful destination”

“Never give up”

“Trust yourself and trust your ability”

Remember, if you don’t do for yourself nobody will. So start from you.
